After Vishal now it`s the turn of the makers of the Ashok Selvan-Bindhu Madhavi starrer Savale Samali` to confirm that their film would release as scheduled on September 4- that is tomorrow.

Yesterday, the Tamil Film Producers Council had announced that there wont be any new Tamil film release in Tamil Nadu from September 4 as a group of theatre owners and distributors are trying to extort money from the Producer S.Madhan of Vendhar Movies who has produced Paayum Puli`, by threatening to stall the release the film in certain areas.

However, within few hours of the Council`s announcement, Vishal the lead actor of Paayum Puli` had confirmed in his social media page that the film will release on September 4 as per schedule.

Now Arun Pandian the Producer of Savale Samali` has also said that his film will release tomorrow, in 170 theaters across Tamil Nadu as it is impossible to stop the release at the last moment.

In a press statement, Arun Pandian has said "We cannot stop the release now, even if I wish so. Crores of money has been spent in making the film and the release date has been announced. We have also spent a lot on publicity. All the extensive technical arrangements required for the release of the film have been completed. Even if we stop the release in TN, the film will have to release in foreign countries which will lead to pirated versions of the film. As a Producer I will have to face severe problems if the release is stalled now. The sudden order of the Producers Council is unjustifiable. I was one of the sufferers due to the failure of Lingaa` as I was the distributor of the film in foreign countries. But I did not speak about it in public domain. They assured us of repayment for the losses suffered, but we haven`t received anything so far. Now we can not stop the release of 'Savale Samali' in Tamil Nadu."

'Savale Samali' has been directed by Sathya Siva of 'Kazhugu' fame.
