Arun Kumar, son of veteran actor Vijayakumar, has been aspiring for a break for a long time.

Though his performance was appreciated in over half-a-dozen movies that he had acted, success was eluding his movies at the box office.

Finally Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu helped him to make a come back. Now he is awaiting the release of Thavam produced by actor Arjun.

Arun Kumar recently re-christened his name as Arun Vijay. Now he has committed two more films and feels extremely elated.

Arun Vijay, who would enter wedlock this December, has been assigned to act in a film to be directed by Manirathinam assistant and another titled Vedha to be directed by S J Suryah's assistant.

Arun Vijay firmly believes that his decision to marry has rained fortunes in the form of offers.

He says, ' I would continue to do good films and make it big. I am ready to struggle any amount to attain stardom'.
