After Demonte Colony` and Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum` actor Arulnithi who has proved his taste for good scripts and performance oriented roles will be taking up the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit thriller Memories` to be directed by Arivazhagan of Eeram` and Vallinam` fame.

Arulnithi reprises the male lead role played by Prithviraj in Malayalam which is off a drunkard cop who takes up the duty to nab the culprits behind a series of murders. The film has scope for two female leads.

Now we have information that Monal Gajjar who has acted in Vikram Prabhu`s Sigaram Thodu` and Kreshna`s Vanavarayan Vallavarayan` has been finalized for the role of the young journalist played by Mia George in the original. The film has scope for another female lead and Nikki Galrani of Darling` fame is on talks for this role.

Monal has confirmed that she is part of the film, but she is yet to sign on the dotted lines. She has also said that the film will go on floors from October.
