A change of heroine for Arulnithi

Last week there were reports suggesting that actress Monal Gajjar of Sigraram Thodu` fame will be pairing up with Arulnithi for his upcoming film directed by Arivazhagan. There seems to be a change of heroine now.

Sources close to the pre-production team of the film have confirmed that Aishwarya Dutta, who acted as Nakul's heroine in this year`s super hit thriller Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum` has been finalized for the role of the female lead in this Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit Memories`.

Arulnithi will be reprising the role of a drunkard cop played by Prithviraj in the original and Aishwarya will essay the role of a journalist played by Mia George. Nikki Galrani of 'Darling' fame will be essaying the another lead lady role in the film.

The team plans to commence the shooting from September 23.
