Though stardom has eluded him, actor Arulnidhi has become a noticeable actor by selecting decent to good films in his acting career. After a critically acclaimed and commercially successful Mouna guru` in 2012, The actor had only one release in 2013 which was Thagararu` that was received with mixed response. This year the young chap acted in Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum` directed by Chimbudevan. The film, despite becoming a commercial dud was critically acclaimed for its unique content and novel presentation.

Now Arulnidhi is acting in Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum` which will be a comedy. After this the actor will take up a horror subject that will be directed by debutante Ajay a former assistant to A.R.Murugadoss.

Ajay has confirmed the news saying that Arulnidhi will be apt for the lead role in this film and it will be a new genre he has not tried so far. The director has worked as an assistant in Vijay`s 2012 super-hit film Thupakki` and became friends with the assistants of its cinematographer Santhosh Sivan and Editor Sreekar Prasad. As are result one assistant of these two veterans will be working in this film as cinematographer and editor respectively. The female lead and music composer for the film are yet to be finalized.

Going by the director`s words, the movie will start rolling October and it will be shot in Chennai and Coorg.
