"When director Santhakumar approached me first with the story of Mounaguru, I was really afraid. For, I had doubts whether I could perform well such a meaty role. So I delayed committing the project for more than six months," says Arulnidhi.

The 'Vamsam' and 'Udhayan' hero, who is now getting ready for the release of 'Mounaguru', his third movie, says, "Finally I was convinced by Santhakumar to play Karunakaran, a character with a lot of uniqueness. It is a very aggressive role I must say."

Saying that there are no much dialogues between his character and that of Iniya, the heroine, Arulnidhi says, "I am sure that Mounaguru would establish me as a talented actor. I am happy with the response to the film's music which was released a couple of days ago."

Produced by MK Tamilarasu on Mohana Movies banner, 'Mounaguru', an action adventure, is expected to see the light of the day in December. Music is composed by Thaman, while lyrics are by Na Muthukumar and Madhan Karky.
