Konchada Srinivas (47), who was seen in popular titles such as Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Shankardada MBBS' and Jr NTR's breakout film 'Adhi', is no more. Known for essaying negative roles in films, Srinivas was mostly seen in action sequences in side roles.

As per news reports, Srinivas was recently diagnosed with a heart-related ailment after he suddenly fell down while shooting for a movie in Hyderabad. He was taken to a hospital, where tests were conducted. Srinivas travelled to his hometown in the Srikakulam district to celebrate Sankranthi with his family last week. There, during the festivities, he fell sick and was rushed to a nearby hospital. He didn't respond to treatment and was declared dead.

His mother Jaya Lakshmi is bereaved. She had lost her husband and her other son years ago.
