In a breaking news, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu has been issued a non-bailable arrest warrant in a case related to an agitation staged for Babli project. Earlier in 2010, Chandrababu along with others was jailed in Pune for the same.
The Judicial Magistrate has ordered the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu and others asking for their presence in the court by September 21. Even the state’s water resources minister Devineni Umeshwara Rao, social welfare minister Anand Babu and former MLA Kamalakar face charges.
Responding to the news, Naidu’s son Lokesh has stated that his father and other TDP party members would appear in the court. Current Chandrababu Naidu is at Tirumala for the annual Brahmotsavam of the Lord Venkateswara temple.
