Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman who graced the opening ceremony of India Soccer League held in Chennai recently took part in a first Football game of the tournament conducted in Kolkata on Saturday.
If the Oscar-winning composer shared the dais with Superstar Rajinikanth, Cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar and Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in Chennai, it was Soccer legend Pele and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee who joined Rahman to enjoy the game in Kolkata. Especially Rahman and Pele shared some warm moments during the course of the match and also posed for photographs together.
It was the birthday of Pele on that day and Rahman surprised Pele and everyone else in the stadium by singing a Birthday tribute song for him on that occasion.
It is worth noting that Rahman scored the music for the biopic feature film on the life of Pele.
