Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been roped in to play the baddie in Superstar Rajinikanth`s highly anticipated sequel to Robo. The Terminator star has been paid an astronomical sum by the makers for his consent to do the film. Grapevine is that Arnold has charged Rs 100 crore to sign the dotted line for this sci-fi thriller produced by Lyca International.
According to Kollywood sources, Arnold is giving night mares to Shankar even before the film hit the floors. It is being said that the actor has allocated only 36-days of his call sheets contrary to Shankar`s estimation of at least 50 days. That`s not all, Arnold is also insisting Shankar to rope in Hollywood writers and suggested a few changes to the script.
Apparently, this didn`t go down well with Shankar and buzz is that he was quite upset with the Hollywood Superstar`s adamant behavior.
Made on a budget on Rs 300 crore, the film will be shot in 3D in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages simultaneously. AR Rahman is scoring the music.
