As the nation has been anxiously waiting to know the outcome of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, which will determine the fate of the country for the next five years, TV news reporter of Republic TV, Arnab Goswami, made a major goof-up while he was running the LIVE telecast of the vote count.
While talking about the vote count for Punjab’s Gurdaspur constituency, Arnab accidentally said the name of Ragini MMS actress Sunny Leone instead of BJP candidate Sunny Deol. As a result of the slip-up, Sunny Leone has been trending on Twitter since morning, while Arnab has been mercilessly trolled for the same. In the video that has been going viral on social media, Arnab says, “Sunny Leone... Sunny Deol is leading from Gurudaspur.” The actress, who got notified about it, soon took to her social media page to post a tweet that read, “Leading by How many votes ???? ;)”
BJP’s Sunny Deol is contesting elections from Punjab’s Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency for the first time. He has taken a lead by over 50,000 votes against his Congress counterpart Sunil Jakhar.
