An Indian Army expedition to Mount Makalu in the Himalayas has unearthed the mysterious footprints of a large ape-like animal known as Yeti. What is a Yeti? "It's a large hairy creature resembling a human or bear, said to live in the highest part of the Himalayas," says a Wiki post.

"The Indian Army has claimed that, while acclimatizing at Langmale Kharka (above 3500mtrs, close to Makalu Base Camp) recently, its Mountaineering Expedition Team sited a series of huge mysterious footprints measuring 32 inches by 15 inches," says a news agency report.

The amazing fact about Yetis is that nobody has ever seen them. They are mythical creatures that have been part of the urban legend in Nepal and parts of India since centuries. They are two-legged creatures that are believed to be 15ft to 20ft tall.
