Director A.R.Murugadoss is currently busy directing 'Akira', the Bollywood remake of 'Mouna Guru', with Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role.

Apart from directing film. Murugadoss forayed into production a few years back and he has been producing Tamil films under his ARM Productions banner. Earlier he produced the film 'Maan Karate' directed by his former associate Thirukumaran and the film turned out to be successful. Now the maverick director' is producing 'Rangoon' directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy who was also Murugadoss's former associate.

The film stars Gautham Karthik and Sana Makbul in lead roles. Musical score has been scored by debutant Vikram RH.

Murugadoss has confirmed that the shooting of 'Rangoon' has been wrapped up and the film can be expected to hit the screens very soon.
