Director A.R.Murugadoss is one of the most successful and highly revered director of Indian cinema. He is a well known director in Bollywood too.

The director made his debut with 'Dheena' starring Thala Ajith. After that he has directed many of the top stars of Indian film industry but the long time wish of Ajith fans to see him director their Thala again has never materialized.

A few years after 'Dheena' a project was launched in which Murugadoss was supposed to direct Ajith for the second time. The film was titled as 'Mirattal' and even the first look posters were released. But the film had to be dropped for unknown reason.

Now Murugadoss has kept one of posters of 'Mirattal' featuring Ajith as the cover photo of his official Twitter handle. This has strongly raised the speculation that the 'Ghajini' director is hinting at the revival of the project amid widespread expectation about his teaming up with Ajith especially after the blockbusters 'Thuppakki' and 'Kaththi' with Vijay.

We will have to wait for a few more days to know whether this speculation about the revival of 'Mirattal' is true. If it is so, then this is definitely the Mirattal news of the year 2016.

Murugadoss is presently busy directing his Bollywood flick 'Akira' and he also has a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project with Mahesh Babu in the pipeline. Thala Ajith on the other hand is all set to begin working on his third film with director Siva in July.
