‘Kaithi’ fame Arjun Das goes to Telugu Cinema – Full Details

Looks like, it’s the season of Tamil stars in Tollywood town. After Thalapathy Vijay and Dhanush, Arjun Das goes to Telugu Cinema as a protagonist.

Arjun Das made his debut in the independent movie Perumaan. Arjun got his big break for his bass-baritone voice when he played the antagonist in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi. He is also featured in Netflix’s supernatural thriller Andhagaaram and Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster Master.

The Malayalam remakes are always hot in the trade. The latest update from the Telugu media houses is that Arjun Das is likely to play one of the leads in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit ‘Kappela’.

Kappela is a famous Netflix film starring Anna Ben, Roshan Mathew, and Sreenath Bhasi. It is well appreciated by the critics as well as the audience.

Arjun Das has played a minor role in the Telugu movie, Oxygen (2017). With Kappela’s remake, he re-enters Tollywood as a major protagonist. The Telugu remake of Kappela is said to be produced by Sithara Entertainments, an associate of director Sukumar is likely to helm the remake.

Currently, Arjun is playing the lead in director Vasanthabalan’s movie and he is likely to feature an important role in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Vikram.
