Arjun turns teacher

Arjun, known for the role of tough cop in his movies, now plays the role of a teacher in his forthcoming movie Vathiyar.

Says Arjun, 'It is the role that I had never done before. It is something interesting and all credit goes to director Venkatesh for giving a new color to the role of teacher played by several artistes before'.

Acting opposite Arjun is Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu girl Mallika Kapoor.

Says Venkatesh, 'We have tried to convey a strong message through. However it has commercial elements in it besides the strong message.'

D Imman has scored the music, while K S Selvaraj is handling the camera. Gopinath has penned the dialogues and stunts by Power fast.

The cast includes Prakash Raj, Sujatha, Vadivelu, Manivannan and Tollywood actor Pradeep Ravath.
