Sruthi Hariharan's police case registered - Will Arjun be arrested?

Sruthi Hariharan made sexual misconduct allegations on Action King Arjun during the shooting of 'Nibunan'/'Vismaya' two years back. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce called for a meeting between the two actors to try and solve the dispute but no compromise was arrived at. Arjun filed a defamation case on Sruthi Hariharan seeking rupees 10 crores compensation for tarnishing his image.
Sruthi Hariharan yesterday filed a case against Arjun and the cops have booked the veteran hero under four sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty, 354A (Sexual Harassment), and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman). The actress has also lodged a complaint that Arjun's manager Prashanth Sambargi made threats on her life if she went through with her complaints.
Rumours started spreading in Bengaluru that Arjun could be arrested in connection with this case but lawyers have clarified that there is no such danger at this stage.
