Sometimes, some scenes tell more than what they had ever intended to. 'Arjun Reddy' has one too many such scenes.

One of them gives a character study of why punishment is indispensable in worldly affairs. Vijay Devarakonda's character is caught performing a surgery while being intoxicated. For a doctor to do this amounts to criminal negligence, irrespective of the final result of the surgery.

When he has to face the court of law for the offence, Arjun Reddy's conscience makes a sudden appearance even though this is not the first time he did a surgery after doing drugs or consuming alcohol.

It may not be any fear of punishment (which he is ready to be given), but it's the very process of being subjected to a legal procedure that shows him the mirror. There is something called 'Reformative Justice', which works here.
