Remember Jia Sharma, who was seen as an actress in 'Arjun Reddy'. The starlet, who fell in love with Vijay Deverakonda's character in that film, will be seen in a Telugu film titled 'Edhureetha'.

Director Balamurugan has cast her as Varsha in this emotional thriller. "She is the epitome of love and friendship, radiating a million times, like the Sun, the love showered. Pain and betrayal are in her life too. But, never retaliated," a synopsis of her character in the film reads.

Starring Sravan Raghavendra and Malayalam actress Leona Lishoy as the lead pair, the film has completed its production works. The film features Noel Sean, Pruthvi (30 years), Sampath Raj, Mahesh Achanta ('Rangasthalam'), Kasi Viswanath, and Ravi Prakash in character roles.
