Vijay Devarakonda to replace Vijay Antony in this remake?

Actor-music director Vijay Antony's 'Pichaikkaran' is a blockbuster in Tamil as well as Telugu. The film originally made in Tamil by director Sasi was dubbed in Telugu as 'Bichigadu' and the dubbed version made huge collection in Telugu box office.
Now we learn that talks are on for the Kannada remake of the film and Vijay Devarakonda who has gained enormous acclaim for his performance in the latest critically acclaimed Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy' is likely to replace Vijay Antony's lead role in the Kannada version of 'Pichaikkaran'.
Negotiations are going on at present and we will have to wait for official confirmation.
