'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has had plans for Mahesh Babu. There was a rumour in 2018 that their union was imminent. It was a baseless one, as time proved. The young filmmaker, however, has had strong plans to team up with the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor in mind.

The 'Kabir Singh' director has said that he would like to make a raw film with the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' superstar someday. "I would love to do a full-fledged film with him. The audience might love to watch a raw film from us," Vanga said.
He added that things hopefully fall in place at the right time so that he can collaborate with Mahesh Babu. It's believed that Namrata Shirodkar was the first one to get in touch with Vanga after 'Arjun Reddy' created a sensation at the box office in 2017.
What about 'Sugar Factory', the rumoured first collaboration between Mahesh and Vanga? "The story is not meant for Mahesh Babu sir. I will be working on some other story for him when a project happens," Vanga suggested.
