Actor Allu Arjun is in news for a different reason, days before the release of his much-awaited Varudu. He made a spiritual visit to the famous Ameen Peer Dargah and Sri Vijaya Durga Devi temple in Kadapa and offered prayers on Friday.

After offering floral garland to the tomb of Ameenullah Malik, he prayed in silence. He said that his visit was prompted by Allu Aravind's advice, who asked him to make a visit to the India-famous shrine.

He was accompanied by some members of Praja Rajyam Party and escorted by his fans. Interestingly, Ram Charan too visited the tomb, before the release of his film Magadheera.

Many celebrities like the Bacchan couple, including several sports persons, have prayed at the tomb in the past. AR Rehman's connection with the dargah is too well-known.
