Athlete Neeraj Chopra created history recently by bringing the first ever Olympic gold medal in track and field events. His victory made every countrymen proud and people expressed their joy and excitement in whatever way they could. Neeraj's feat is going to work as a source of inspiration for many individuals in the coming years but for actor Arjun Kapoor, it going to be a little more relatable.

Apparently, long back before representing the nation in top tier tournaments, Neeraj Chopra battled obesity. He weighed 80 kgs in his early teenage years and was forced by his parents to go and excercise. Actor Arjun Kapoor also had a similar challange before making it into the film industry. He was obese as he found comfort from his harsh childhood in food.

As Neeraj opened up about battling obesity in his teenage, Arjun was very impressed and took to his instagram to give a holler to the golden boy. Arjun wrote, “Just battling obesity can be physically and mentally exhausting. This boy has not just overcome that, he has kept his eyes on the prize to ace an Olympic gold medal. Neeraj, you are such an inspiration to me and for the country.”
