Arjun Kapoor has lived through a very shaky family life. However, he and his sister Anshula Kapoor got in touch with their half sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor after the death of Sridevi. Arjun recently revealed that he is a bit uncomfortable with the new sibling dynamic with Janhvi Kapoor. He shared that it feels strange to hear "Arjun Bhaiya" from her.

Arjun stated during an interview, "It sounds a bit religious also, Brother Arjun. The thing is, ‘Arjun bhaiyya’ still sounds very strange to me, only because Anshula calls me ‘bhai’ in a very strange way. ‘Arjun bhaiyya’ is a very new thing. So, when Janhvi says that, it still feels very, very new to me, actually.”

Arjun also shared that he has never specifically asked Janhvi to address him with something else. “I think it just comes very naturally to Janhvi to call me ‘Arjun bhaiyya’ because I have never even told her, ‘You should call me this’ or call me that,” he said.
