Unlike his earlier bindaas, rough guy’s characters, Arjun Kapoor in his latest feature ‘2 States’ is seen as a simple, boy-next-door who is madly and deeply in love with his college mate.

The second song from Dharma Productions’ ‘2 States’, 'Locha-E-Ulfat', has been released, featuring the lead couple, Arjun and Alia Bhatt, against the college backdrop.

Arjun, who portrays the character of Krish Malhotra, is seen falling head-over-heels in love with Ananya Swaminathan, played by Alia. The song has Arjun expressing his conflict about having fallen in love with Ananya. He also does simple yet attractive moves which are surely going to catch on with the youngster.

On the other hand, Alia looks fabulous, stunning, chic and refreshing; compared to her previous movies.

With melodious tunes by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, the song has been sung by Aditi Singh Sharma and Amitabh Bhattacharya.

A UTV Motion Pictures presentation, and a Sajid Nadiadwala & Karan Johar production, 2 States has been directed by Abhishek Varman and stars Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor. It is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel 2 States, and is slated to release on 18th April, 2014.
