For his forthcoming film ‘Aurangzeb’, Arjun Kapoor reported to have shifted his base temporarily from Mumbai to the growing suburb of Delhi, Gurgaon.

Now it’s a known fact that the story of ‘Aurangzeb’ revolves around the real estate business of Gurgoan. Interestingly it’s the first film to set itself in Gurgoan milieu. And to emphasize and underline this, the markers decided to shift Arjun from Mumbai to Gurgoan for a whole week.

Apparently, the Ishqzaada will stay in Gurgaon and live a lifestyle that Gurgoanite follows. For a week Arjun plans to make the suburban town by watching films and going clubbing and engaging interacting with local people.

Usually films are set in cities and for first time this belongs to a suburban town. Only goes to show how important this suburb has become. Besides, ‘Aurangzeb’ showcases how power and crime functions in a rapidly growing city like Gurgaon.

For the records, in the past - Imran Khan had shifted to Delhi for a month to promote ‘Delhi Belly’ and had even rented an apartment out. Even Arjun’s cousin, Sonam Kapoor had shifted to Delhi for 4 months as she was shooting all her films back to back in Delhi. She had shifted in her aunt's apartment.
