Actor Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will soon be seen in filmmaker Mohit Suri's much-anticipated movie 'Half Girlfriend'. The movie has finally gone on floors after all the speculation. This movie is a love story adapted from the much talked about novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.

'Tevar' star Arjun will be essaying the role of a basketball player for 'Half Girlfriend' and it looks like Arjun has gone really serious with his role and the game. He recently took to Instagram, shared pictures and videos from his basketball practice session.

This is the first film that, actor Shraddha and Arjun will share screen space together. Arjun has recently opened up saying that, 'Half Girlfriend' is not a frivolous romantic comedy. He said, "There is pathos and drama in 'Half Girlfriend'. It's not just a frivolous rom-com (romantic-comedy). It's a drama. That film has a journey. It's a romantic journey and for me that is very exciting. He also adds to say, "I have never done film where there is a rise and fall in love of a boy. If anybody has read the book, then they must be aware of the journey of Madhav Jha (his character). In the film there is a time lapse (of about) seven-eight years between the beginning of the film and the end of the film".

In this movie, Arjun has united with Chetan Bhagat for the second time after '2 States'. The film 'Half Girlfriend' will hit the screens only by next year.
