Action King Arjun, was last seen playing the principal antagonist, the cybercriminal white devil aka Sathyamoorthy in Vishal starrer action flick Irumbuthirai, which was a commercial success. Following the movie, he had recently wrapped shooting his portions for the upcoming Vijay Antony starrer Kolaigaran, directed by Leelai fame Andrew Louis.

Now, the actor has reportedly joined the shoot of his debut Malayalam flick Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham, directed by ace director Priyadarshan, that stars Mohanlal in the title role, besides Pranav Mohanlal (who would essay the younger version of Mohanlal), Kalyani Priyadarshan, Keerthy Suresh, Prabhu and Suniel Shetty in prime roles.

The movie Marakkar is said to have Arjun in a crucial role, and the movie, based on the life of a naval chief who fought Portuguese, is currently being shot in Hyderabad, in specially designed sets erected by Sabu Cyril.Besides, Arjun also has Vikram Prabhu starrer Walter and Simbu - Venkat Prabhu combo's Maaanadu in his kitty.
