Veteran actor Arjun's daughter Aishwarya made her acting debut as a heroin in 'Pattathu Yanai' and she played the love interest of Vishal in that film. However the film failed to serve as a perfect launch pad for her.

Now Arjun has taken up the perfect role of a father. He has launched a Tamil-Kannada bilingual flick to relaunch his daughter. Arjun will be producing the film under his home banner apart from writing the script and he will also direct the film.

The film has been titled as 'Kadhalin Pon Veedhiyil' and it will be launched with a formal pooja today. Newcomer Shanthan makes his acting debut playing the lead hero in this film touted to be a romantic entertainer. Whether Arjun will be acting in this film in an important role as he has acted in all of the films he has directed so far is something that is yet to be confirmed.

We hope Aishwarya gets the much needed break and her father's effort pays off well.
