This places him ahead of Billie Eilish, who has 84.7 million followers, and Taylor Swift with 83.1 million. Impressively, Arijit has also outpaced Drake, Eminem, and Justin Bieber, securing the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots respectively. The top 15 most followed artists on the platform also include The Weeknd, Rihanna, Adele, BTS, and Bruno Mars.

Arijit Singh, originally from Murshidabad, first gained attention from the musical reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005. However, his breakthrough came in 2013 with the release of chart-toppers like "Tum Hi Ho" and "Chahun Main Ya Naa."
