Arijit Singh's popularity continues to soar as he claims the third spot among Spotify's most followed artists, surpassing global icons like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. Topping the list are Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande. According to music analytics platform ChartMasters, Arijit Singh now boasts a massive 86.4 million followers on Spotify. This places him ahead of Billie Eilish, who has 84.7 million followers, and Taylor Swift with 83.1 million. Impressively, Arijit has also outpaced Drake, Eminem, and Justin Bieber, securing the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots respectively. The top 15 most followed artists on the platform also include The Weeknd, Rihanna, Adele, BTS, and Bruno Mars.

Arijit Singh, originally from Murshidabad, first gained attention from the musical reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005. However, his breakthrough came in 2013 with the release of chart-toppers like "Tum Hi Ho" and "Chahun Main Ya Naa."

His recent tracks include the romantic song "Chaleya '' for Shah Rukh Khan's film "Jawan," featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander. Additionally, he lent his voice to "Tum Kya Mile," "Ve Kamleya," and the dance track "What Jhumka" in the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer "Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." Arijit Singh's journey from reality show contestant to global sensation continues to captivate music lovers worldwide.
