Director Arivazhagan who proved his mettle with the glossy thriller ‘Eeram’ is set to repeat his success on a different plane. For his second film Arivazhagan has chosen a different genre - sports.

Arivazhagan has decided to make his second film based on basketball sport because he says the energy involved in any sport will attract all people young at heart. Though a sports film, Arivazhagan has created an action-oriented script set in a college with credible saleable elements.

A movie based on sports is not a favoured spot for our film makers. ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ and ‘Lee’ are the only two films in recent memory. But Arivazhagan was able to convince his producer Ravichandran. Here producer is also to be appreciated for placing his faith in a different genre of film.

The new film will have music by Thaman and camera by Vijay Ulaganathan. The official launch will happen in March.
