It's been around 18 months since the deadly corona virus brought the world to standstill. Any fun activity which involved a crowd was out of the question during the pandemic. As the number of cases are decreasing around the globe, the world is gradually opening up and returning to normal. Movies have started production again and sports stadiums are also also starting to reopen for fans. Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh is also set to give a live performance for the first time since the Covid-19 outbreak.

Arijit's concert will be held in the Etihad Arena which is the largest indoor stadium in the Middle East. The date of the concert is 19th of November. Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Portfolio Managing Events will be acting as the organisers of the event.

Talking about his upcoming show, Arijit said, "Since the unfortunate coronavirus outbreak, this would be my first onstage performance. I am humbled to be a part of the concert and to be able to continue entertaining my fans. During this troubled time, I couldn’t think of a better way in an attempt to keep the spirits high and heal through music. I always had an experience performing for the warm crowd of the UAE. I am quite excited to perform there after five years."
