The much-awaited ‘Thank U, Next’ album has finally been released by Ariana Grande. The 12-track collection includes the title track and ‘7 rings’ both of which were featured at Number One in the Hot 100. Along with that, she also shared a new music video for the song “Break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored,” starring Riverdale’s Charles Melton.
Ariana was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2019 Grammys, however, she announced that she won’t be attending the event after a fallout with the show's producer, Ken Ehrlich.
In response to the producer’s claim that Ariana wouldn’t be attending the event as it was too late for her to pull a performance together, the singer tweeted, “I’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. I can pull together a performance overnight and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”
