Hot buzz has been in tinsel town for some time that ‘Dabangg’ superstar Salman Khan and superhit actress Deepika Padukone will be a pair for the first time in Sooraj Barjatya’s forthcoming project.

While everyone is eagerly waiting for this fabulous jodi, we hear that things are still lying on discussion table in Barjatya’s camp. In fact, many A-list actress are eyeing for the female lead’s role in this project – including Katrina, Kareena, Ileana, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti among others - and so the filmmaker is considering meeting them as well. So although he has spoken to Deepika, she has not been confirmed yet.

Oh but we really hope Deepika is roped in for Salman! Cross fingered on this jodi!!

Talks are that the untitled film will probably start its shooting in June 2014 and like Barjatya’s earlier film, this one will also be mostly shot in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
