The audio release function of 'DevaDas' was held on Thursday. The event was attended by the film's cast and crew and T Subbarami Reddy as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna said, "It's Nanna garu's birthday today. ANR lives on. It was in 1953 that 'Devadas' released. Again, the same title is coming in 2018. This is proof enough that ANR lives on. We are very positive about the film. I have accepted this movie because the script is good, because it's produced by Ashwini Dutt garu and because Nani is the other hero. I had been wanting to do a multi-starrer with Nani. There is something special about him. His dialogue-delivery is so smooth and it feels like a song to listen to him speak. Shall we do a sequel to this movie?"

Nag hailed the track record of Ashwini Dutt as a producer. "I have done five movies with him. For 'Aakhari Poratam', Sridevi was cast. For another movie, just for a song, he roped in Aishwarya Rai. Dutt garu can do anything for a film. He is passionate about cinema.

About Rashmika Mandanna, Nag said that she is a bundle of energy. "The other day, we were travelling by air. And Rashmika was by my side like a bodyguard. Moreover, she kept on cracking jokes for 3 hours. Such a lovely person she is. She has scored two back-to-back hits. May she have a hat-trick," Nag said. About his heroine Aakansha Singh, Nag said that she is a beautiful person who will become a star heroine.

About director Sriram Adittya, he said, "This guy is so young but he could handle us smoothly. He will go a long way."

About T Subbarami Reddy, the event's chief guest, Nag said, "Whenever I face a problem, I remember only one person and he is TSR garu. He can solve any problem."
