Pawan Kalyan has questioned the government's track record on the maintenance of roads. At a time when incessant rains are lashing the Telugu States, the actor-politician commented that roads are looking like swimming pools.
He questioned the YCP government and started a digital campaign named #GoodMorningCMSir. "The Andhra Pradesh government had announced in April that it had allocated Rs 1072 Cr for repairs of 9,222 km of panchayat roads. They have been saying that the road repairs are going on at a brisk pace. But the situation is too worse at the field level. Pigs are playing havoc on roads," Pawan said.
He asked where are the funds meant for the repairs and maintenance going.
The Power Star alleged that about 30,000 km of roads have been deprived of minimum repairs and are now grappling with pits and holes.
The Jana Sena Party chief asked his followers, supporters and the public at large to share pics of potholes and defunct roads across social media platforms.
