If everything goes well, 'Duvvada Jagannadham' will hit the screens on May 12 and there will be at least a 40-day gap between the Allu Arjun film and Mahesh Babu's much-awaited 'SPYder'.

However, if the grapevine has to be believed, things are not going well on the front of 'DJ'. The film could well be postponed to the first week of June. If, from this, it gets further delayed even by a few days, its BO potential might be attenuated by the June 23rd release.

Only till the other day, the release of 'DJ' was almost a foregone conclusion. With 'Baahubali-2' coming on April 28, everybody thought that the film is spaced well. And since the Rajamouli magnum opus is anyways releasing in a whopping number of theatres, most of them will have watched it within the first two weeks, allowing 'DJ' to rule the rest of the summer season.

After the holiday season, the advantage that films have goes down to an extent. Where two films would be watched in summer, the audience might choose only one.
