Ahead of the release of 'Agnyaathavaasi' and 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' ('Gang' in Telugu), it's heard that a cartel in South Africa has put a spanner in the wheel for these much-awaited Sankranthi releases.

South Africa is a (potentially) lucrative market for both Tamil and Telugu films but allegedly, a cartel has come into existence in recent times. This cartel by a few distributors is known to offer tickets at very low prices and that too at only 20 percent of the market price.

These distributors are also said to prevent new players from entering the market and hence, the films of Pawan Kalyan and Suriya may not be releasing in this country.
