'I Like It This Way', directed by journalist Prema Malini Vanam, stars Archana in the role of an independent-minded woman. Speaking on Sunday at the film's premiere in Hyderabad, the actress and her director spoke about how they strongly feel about the film's theme: Women's freedom is paramount. It's not given by men. If it's given by men, it's not freedom at all.

Archana plays a broad-minded woman who just can't stand a chauvinist. She doesn't like to be judged by what she wears, and she is a feminist's delight from the word go.

What happens when she meets a man (played by Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu) who doesn't fit into any of the stereotypes associated with males? That's what the story is about.

Right from her virginity to menstrual cycles, everything about Archana's character finds its way into the narration without seeming artificial. And the character of Shivakumar is likable in every respect. Watch the future couple discuss their thoughts over a drink.

Produced by Archana herself, the independent film has dialogues by Gangadhar Advaitha. Sunil Kashyap is the music director. Lyrics are by Sira Sri. The cinematography is by Sai Santosh and Sateesh Reddy.
