'Dabangg 2' is a super success and Arbaaz Khan has all the right reasons to rejoice and celebrate. All negative voices have died down, cynicism diluted and detractors being shut up. It is the voice of success that is being heard the loudest and Arbaaz has no qualms staking a claim on that.

"When 'Dsabangg 2' was being put together, many opined that since Arbaaz had a good support system in place, especially with not just Salman Khan but also dad Salim Khan out there to add on to his vision, he would be bailed out of a tricky situation, if required.

However not many are aware that while he trusted his family to stand by him, every decision centred on the film, right from conceptualisation to execution to promotion and then release was green-lighted by him", informs a source.

Arbaaz had all the right reasons to execute this line of action.

"Let me put it this way that you also need to see which stage of the film you are in. If the film is complete and ready for release, how would opinions matter at all", questions Arbaaz, "Yes, ultimately you have lots of people at your disposal but then whatever you end up making, whether it is good, bad or ugly, it is you who has to grow and take responsibility.

You can't go around showing your film to people and then take their opinion. Reason being that sometimes you may be convinced about having done something but just because others have some opinions as well, achcha khaasa kaam bhi kharaab ho jaata hai."

He adds, "Instead of me relying on my immediate family, friends or acquaintances, I rather concentrated on delivering my best and sticking by it. After all, I had taken responsibility of producing and directing a film so the onus had to fall on me.

Of course in case of any doubt, I didn't mind reaching out to even an assistant. However the final decision still had to be mine."
