'Aravindha Sametha' trailer: From Savage To Sage

If you were thinking that the trailer for 'Aravindha Sametha' would be an extension of its teaser, you now know it's not. If the teaser was about the violent Veera Raghava, the trailer introduces us to the pacific Veera Raghava. Yes, there is some violence, too, but the mainstay of the trailer is the protagonist's conviction to come of age.
To be sure, Trivikram Srinivas seems to have adopted a familiar format to narrate a message-laden (if not message-driven) story. Give peace a chance. We now know it.
NTR comes with a 'Janatha Garage'-type dialogue modulation. He also has that 'Simhadri'-level rage. The Seema slang, which he has learnt under Penchal Das's tutelage, is striking.
The film is expected to be dialogue-heavy. Violence could be a need, a matter of legacy, a natural quality, or a vice, as the old woman says. That's Trivikram Srinivas for you.
Jagapathi Babu is unkempt and macabre and comparisons with a recent blockbuster will surely be drawn.
For one, there shouldn't have been so much of Pooja Hegde, complete with her dubbing. It gives away too much of the rom-com track involving the lead pair. She literally asks for space. This is something those out there disliking stalking in films will find fitting.
Rao Ramesh might well have more screen time than Naga Bab. Eesha Rebba, Naveen Chandra, Sunil and Srinivas Reddy are also seen.
With music by Thaman, it has camera work by PS Vinod. The film is arriving on Oct 11.
