Aravindha Sametha copied? Sensational details appear

Trivikram Srinivas is in a soup, with an award-winning Telugu writer named Vempalli Gangadhar accusing him of plagiarising his work 'Papagni Kathalu'.

The writer, who hails from Kadapa district, says, "It was in April that I got a call from Trivikram's office. I went to Hyderabad to meet him on the sets of 'Aravindha Sametha'. The film's first fight was being shot at that time. He (director) asked me about the subject of my book," Vempalli says.

"Trivikram took me on a ride to a hotel in his car. During the journey, too, he asked me questions about my research into factionalism in Rayalaseema. Even in the hotel, he got cleared several doubts from me. He is aware of my book 'Papagni Kathalu' and its content. Trivikram is an intelligent fool who lifts characters and situations from different stories and concocts his own story out of them. He hasn't given any credit to me," Vempalli alleges.

The writer's allegations have acquired credibility as he is a Sahitya Akademi's Yuva Puraskar winner. Even the 'Mondi Katthi' idea in the NTR starrer is a brainchild of the writer, reports say.
