While always having supported Jallikattu, he believes that steps need to be taken so that the audience and the players are safe, while emphasizing that the bulls should not be harmed.

He points out that there are people/organizations waiting to see Jallikattu fail as a sport and so it needs to be meticulously planned.

Arvind Swami's working plan involves creating a governing body for Jallikattu, framing a set of rules and regulations, providing facilities for the arena and protective gear for the participants, maximizing safety factors, and keenly monitoring the sport.

The actor believes in starting small with just a few nodal venues with the best facilities, and increasing from there once its under fine control.

He responds to the protesters who demand for a permanent solution suggesting that even an ordnance or amendment can be challenged in the court, and that the only way to keep the sport permanent is by ensuring proper safety for both the people, and especially the bulls.

Instead of giving out black and white opinions on the issue, the actor shares an approach that's rather realistic and more sustainable in the long run and proves that he is a real 'Thani Oruvan'.
