Aravind Samy denies playing Samantha's father

Yesteryear chocolate hero Aravind Samy has denied media reports which claimed that he would make a comeback in Tamil cinema by playing Samantha's father in Mani Ratnman's forthcoming film.

Not acting as anyone’s dad in any movie, the actor-turned-entrepreneur, who is popular for his roles in 'Roja' and 'Mumbai', wrote on his microblogging page, adding: Where do they find such nonsense?”

Last week, reports claimed that Mani Ratnam, who launched Aravind Samy's career in cinema, has roped in the actor for his yet-to-be-titled flick, which is set on the backdrop of fishermen in Nagapattinam.

The latest is that the team is flying to the Andamans for a month long schedule in the beaches, which will take place later this month or early March.
