Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' shooting is currently happening in Mumbai even as the lead actor has returned to Chennai after completing his portions in the first schedule. The film directed by Pa.Ranjith and produced by Dhanush, boasts off a stellar star cast that includes many popular faces from Bollywood as well as Kollywood. One among them is Aravind Akaash who has acted in many films and quite popular for his performance in Venkat Prabhu directed films such as 'Chennai 600028' and its sequel, 'Goa', 'Mankatha' and others.

Now we learn that Aravind Akaash plays a Marathi police officer whose name is Sivaji Rao Gaekwad. Interestingly this is the original name of the film's lead actor Rajinikanth. Akaash who is well versed in Hindi is in the process of learning Marathi for his character. He says he has started shooting for the film but he is yet to meet Thalaivar who he considers as his god. He immediately accepted the offer once Ranjith narrated the role to him as it is a chance to act with the Superstar.

Ranjith being a former assistant of Venkat Prabhu. Aravind says Ranjith is his friend since 'Goa' days.
