Lady Superstar Nayanthara's Tamil Movie 'Aramm' released on Friday last (November 10) and it has generated overwhelming positive reviews from all quarters. The film is already on track for a blockbuster.
In Chennai Box office 'Aramm' has taken a tremendous opening with the collections crossing the magical mark of Rs.1 crore (Rs.1,02,81,259) in the first weekend itself. Generally the film of star actors and big directors have done this and for the first time ever a film with a female star as the solo lead has made this remarkable achievement. This proves beyond doubt that Nayanthara is the numero uno Lady superstar.
The film was screened in 18 screens across Chennai and it has had 191 shows screened in three days. With an average occupancy of 87%, the film has collected this much. The box office trade calls it a Good opening.
'Aramm' directed by Gopi Nainar has Nayanthara playing a district collector struggling to save a child which has fallen into a deep borewell pit.
