Aralidha Hoo
The film 'Aralidha Hoo' is all about trials and tribulations of the young boy born to a Devadasi (Devadasi is a system in Karnataka wherein the girls after puberty are offered to God - later she indulges in activity that is very similar to prostitution). The young boy istreated badly in the village but the courageous boy takes up many challenges. He grows a garden of his own and earns his livelihood. He becomes the darling of everyone in the village by sheer hard work and conviction. The Deputy Commissioner in that district traces the young boy talent and provides adequate help for him. Who is the mother of this boy? This is a suspense you have to watch it on the silver screen.
The film commenced shooting in Ramdurg of Belgaum district and later the shooting was held at Savadatti, Mudhol and Jamakhandi for 30 days.
Master Srinivas who is playing the central role in this film is studying in 3rd standard at Cambridge School of Ramadurga. He is the son of one of the producers Ramesh Hirereddy.
The film is now at the dubbing stage at B.R.Keshava's studio 'Cinema Sound' in Basaveshwaranagara, Bangalore. This is slated for release for this year Children's day on November 14.
