Isai Puyal AR Rahman joins Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu for ‘Maamannan’! – Hot official update

‘Maamannan’ is an upcoming magnum opus Tamil film directed by the highly acclaimed Mari Selvaraj. The film stars Vadivelu, Fahad Faasil, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The film’s shooting was completed months back and the official first-look poster was launched a few days ago.

Maamannan is all set to hit the screens on Bakrid weekend, June 29. The post-production work is on track for the release and going on in full swing. AR Rahman is composing the musical score for the social drama. Today, Isai Puyal took to social media to share that he recorded a song in Vaigai Puyal’s voice and shared a couple of pictures from the session.

Yugabharathi penned the lyrics for the song sung by Vadivelu. Taking to Instagram, ARR wrote, “Recorded a song with our Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu ..He made us laugh throughout and made our session very memorable! #mariselvaraj and the #Mamannan team” (sic). Mari Selvaraj wrote, “Vaigai Puyal collaborates with Isai Puyal” (sic).

The photos from their recording session are now doing rounds on the internet. Red Giant Movies produced Maamannan which has cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Selva RK, art direction by Kumar Gangappan and stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
