Director Mani Ratnam's much awaited multi-starrer 'Chekka Chivandha Vaanam' is getting ready to hit the screens by this month end. Now comes the official announcement on the film's audio release date.

It has been officially confirmed by the makers that the music album of 'CCV' will be released on September 5, 2018 (Wednesday). More joyous news to the fans is that all the songs from the film will be performed live by none other than the film's music director A.R.Rahman.

The venue of the audio launch event has not been mentioned but the event will be telecast live on Facebook. Details about the venue and timings are expected to arrive soon.

The Mani Ratnam-Rahman-Vairamuthu is one of the most successful director-music director-lyricist trio in Tamil cinema which has been continuously delivering chartbuster albums for over 25 years. We can be assured that the songs of 'CCV' will also hit the bull's eye.

The film stars Arvind Swamy, Jyohika, Vijay Sethupathi, Silambarasan, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dayana Erappa, Praksah Raj, Jayasudha, Thiagarajan, Mansoor Ali Khan and many others. Santhosh Sivan has handled the camera while Sreekar Prasad has done the editing.

The film is expected to hit the screens on September 28, 2018
